What were you saying about your beloved Race X-lite tires? I'm tellin ya, gotta switch to hardcases. They weigh a lot, but bike weight doesn't really matter. The difference between a 15 pound bike and an 18 or 19 pound bike can easily be offset by fitness. I've always liked the feeling of training on a heavier setup then, come race day, put on the light stuff and feel like I've got some extra strength.
Basically I just hate flats so I do most anything to prevent them. Hardcases are the best solution in my opinion. Just my thoughts.
