So this was my Christmas present. Thor Hushovd signature handlebars from PRO, Shimano's in-house parts brand. I've been running 42cm bars on the cross bike, thanks Munson, and really like them more than my previous 44, so I had my shoulder width remeasured and can run 42's just fine. These bars have a sweet drop to them, with a longer flat section on the drop to fit the whole hand and sprint like mad. They were made for plenty of forearm clearance for a powerhouse guy like me. RIGHT! Anyway pretty sweet and look good. Now I just have to rebuild the road bike again and test them out. That will happen soon.

One shameless plug. Highgear is starting trainer nights on Wed. Jan. 2 at 6:15-6:30pm. If you can make it great, if not you are certainly missing out on a great opportunity to start building form for next season. I'll have a poster up pretty soon as well, make it look pro.

I've always run 42s and now I'm finding I like 44s. Kinda weird, eh?

I'm in for the trainer rides if I can leave my trainer there, ride to the shop, and put in at least an hour while there, if not more. We'll see how that pans out.
