What happens when you get sent around a detour for 1/2 an hour?

I'm still pissed about it. The course was perfect for me; flat, fast, and open. Based on where the racers finished from last week I could have been top 10. DAMMIT! Oh well, halloween cross looks like a ton of fun, and it is a flat, open course with no sharp turns. Bring it on.

ummm ... why were you cutting it that close to begin with? I'm so anal about stuff like that -- if I'm not there at least 90 minutes before the race, I'm antsy as hell.
Cross I usually only do about a half hour warm-up. I don't take it too seriously. The delays probaby took about 45 minutes total. So I would have been on time for myself, but shit happens. I'm racing in Verona on the 18th and then in Milwaukee the following weekend. Halloween cross in Milwaukee looks like a ton of fun, so we'll see.
