New Setup

What I see when I'm at the office.
Trying out a few new things. Bontrager Race Lite VR bars and an X lite stem. White Deda bar tape. Also changed all my cables and housing to D/A.

You have a Felt? Sweet! Which model is that? F55?

On the Lincoln Plating Crit -- that'll be my first one. Ever. Yikes.

F&#. Got it a couple of months before I started working for TREK. by next month the only thing original will be the shifters, and frame and fork. I'm still going to change the crank, cassette, and I need a new chain.

Sweet that you'll be doing your first race. I will definetly try to be there for the Crit. Just don't crash that's all the advice I have for you.

f75, I can't do anything right.

I looked at the F75 and the F65 before I got my F5C. Great price for a full-carbon ride.

The F75 came with an FSA Gossamer crank, didn't it?

The Lincoln Plating crit won't be my first race, just my frist crit. I have exactly one race worth of experience -- the state RR last fall.

I did about 5 races last year. I looked at the 5 but it didn't fit my budget last year. The gossamer crank that was on it isn't that good. I am putting on and FSA SLK MegaExo this week. I'll post pics then I get my ride all done.

sorry let me clarify the Gossamer Crompacts that are on the 75 were ISIS and I have had a lot of trouble with them. Plus, I need to go to a standard crank for the races.

I'm with you. The gossamer is standard on the F5C, too, but Dave at Bike Masters rode it before I bought it. He 'pre-pimped' it for me -- Ultegra crank, different bars and a wheel upgrade to Shimano 550s. He probably dropped at least half-pound between the three.

I'm going to put on an SLK crank and try to get some new wheels sometime soon. just reupped my license so i guess i'm legit for another year.
